efforts to the philosophy of Community Policing, working in a collaborative method with residents and visitors to keep
Parma Heights safe and a friendly community to live and visit.

The Parma Heights Police Department is hiring and is now accepting Lateral Transfer Applications indefinitely.

Applications can be e-mailed to, mailed to, or dropped off at our department 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Applications will be kept on file for a year, there is NO DUE DATE.

The Parma Heights Police Department is committed to the safety and security of all residents, businesses and visitors. Our department strives to provide the best public service by offering timely, accurate and exceptional response to your complaints and calls for assistance. The PHPD consists of 40 members including: the Chief, Chief's Assistant, 2 Captain, 8 Sergeants, 4 Detectives, 1 Detective Bureau Secretary, 19 Patrol Officers, 3 Auxiliary Officers, and 1 part-time Clerk.
