MEMBERS OF COUNCIL
Marie Gallo, Council President, At-Large
Marie Gallo was appointed to serve on City Council in July 2010. She currently serves as the Ward 4 Council Representative, City Council President and is a member of the Police, Fire and Safety Committee. Marie is a graduate of Holy Name High School, and she has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Baldwin Wallace University. She also completed continuting education courses through Kent State University to earn her status as a Certified Municipal Clerk. Marie has been a resident of Parma Heights since 2001.
JoAnn Koch, Council President Pro-Tem, Ward 3

JoAnn Koch was elected to serve on City Council in 2010. She currently serves as the Chairwoman of the Police, Fire and Safety Committee, as a member of the Finance Committee and as the Council Representative to the Planning Commission. She graduated from James Ford Rhodes High School in 1969 and from Kent State University in 1973 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree - Graphics and Advertising. JoAnn and her husband Fred are parents of two and have been homeowners in Parma Heights since 1975.
Renee Everett, Council Ward 1

Renee Everett was elected to Council in 2013. She is the Chairwoman of the Utilities, Streets, and Sidewalks Committee and a member of the Police, Fire and Safety Committee.. Renee served as the Chairperson for the Parma Heights Charter Review Commission and is one of the original members involved in organizing and bringing a community garden and the Parma Heights Garden Club back to the City. Renee and her husband, David, have two children and have been homeowners since 1991.
Annette Danczak, Council Ward 2

Annette Danczak was elected to Parma Heights City Council as the Ward 2 representative. She and her husband have been residents of Ward 2 for the past 14 years. They have 3 children and 8 grandchildren. Annette graduated from Midpark High School in 1972, attended Bowling Green University as an education major and graduated from Cuyahoga Community College with an Associate Degree in Business Administration. Annette serves on the Utilities, Streets and Sidewalks Committee.
Rick Haase, Council Ward 4

Rick Haase was appointed to fill the unexpired term of the Ward 4 Council seat in February 2020 and officially sworn-in by Parma Heights Mayor Michael P. Byrne on Monday, March 2, 2020. A resident of Parma Heights Ward 4 for more than 50 years, he is a graduate of Valley Forge High School, Cuyahoga Community College's Western Campus, and Baldwin-Wallace University. Haase is best known as a local journalist and marketing communications professional who has won numerous local, regional and national awards for his writing. He most recently served as a member of the Parma Heights Charter Review Commission, and also previously worked as Director of Communications for the Office of Parma Heights Mayor Michael P. Byrne. He is also a former member of the Board of Directors of Cassidy Theatre, Inc. in Parma Heights.
Anthony Stavole, Council-At-Large

Anthony Stavole was elected to City Council in 2012. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Recreation Committee and is a member of the Utilities, Streets and Sidewalks Committee. He is also the Council Representative to the Recreation Commission. Anthony was born and raised in Parma Heights. Anthony and his wife, Julie, are raising their children Carmen, Dominic, and Giovanni in this great, family friendly community.
